We are pleased to welcome you to the "Construction and Law” portal designed with the participants of the investment process in mind: general contractors and subcontractors, as well as investors, this to include public entities.
The portal is created by lawyers at BSJP and edited by Alicja Mizerska – a legal advisor with many years’ experience in the area of construction investment law in Poland. The idea for launching the portal came as a result of the issues and challenges encountered by our lawyers as faced by the parties to contracts for construction works, including problems arising in connection with application of the FIDIC Terms of Contract in Poland.
Our aim is for the portal to become a platform through which we can share our passion and experience, and at the same time broaden our knowledge in respect of the up-to-date issues relating to implementation of construction projects in Poland.
We are open to any comments with regard to what is published on the portal and await suggestions as to the topics to be discussed here. Therefore, please be free to contact us using this interactive contact form and take an active part in creating the portal by commenting on the texts published here!
How to draw up a sound subcontracting contract? How to avoid disputes with the investor? Is it worth entering into settlements in construction disputes?
We will endeavour for the recommendations presented here to be a tangible help as regards implementation of your investment projects in compliance with the law and contracts concluded. We are certain that you will be able to find the answers to many questions here.
Enjoy reading and all the best with implementing your construction projects!
Alicja Mizerska and authors from the "Construction and Law” portal.
